How can a local Little League Umpire be selected as a tournament umpire to umpire in City Tournaments, District Tournaments, Section Tournaments, State Tournaments, Regional Tournaments and finally a World Series Tournament ?

The first step is to begin umpiring in your local Little League Program, becoming proficient by attending District Umpire Clinics and improving you skills through umpiring at all levels of baseball and softball.  District 19 offers several umpire training clinics each year, if fact, have your League President schedule an umpire clinic at your local league.

Have your League President submit your name as a recommendation to call in our annual tournaments.  Our Umpire Supervisors will review your skills on the field and make recommendations for further advancement to the District Umpire Consultant.

You can also offer your own name for submission in case your League President misses your name for some reason, just use the e-mail link and use the subject line: umpire for tournament.

We will be posting information regarding Umpire Training Classes and Advanced Umpire Training Classes which will be given by the District Umpire Training Staff on this website under the link: "Calendar of Events".

If you need information about umpiring and training now e-mail:
